Director's letter
Hello everyone!
My name is Yuliya Bykova and as a mother of two children, as well as an educator, I am acutely aware of parents needs and wants from their children and more importantly from the care that is given to their child in their absence.I am child development specialist with master degree in psychology and 11 years experience. In addition, I completed courses in Special Education thus broadening my knowledge in child development and their various learning styles.
Children have been a part of my life since 2009 when I got my first job as a Kindergarten Psychologist. I established Positive Alternative Childcare Center in 2015. I am highly committed to my vocation because I see a need for children to have a healthy environment and positive guidance. During times when many parents are working as hard as they can to provide basic necessities for their families I want to be there emotionally for children. I have had the opportunity to work with different ethnicity of children and professionals in the field of education; always learning something new to better myself as a child developmen specialist and providing helpful insights into the different needs of children. While teaching my vision for a different kind of childcare environment began to crystallize.
I am a continuous learner and made a pledge to myself that I will continue teaching children for the hope of bettering their educational paths.I am eagerly anticipating the challenge of being an intricate part of your children’s future. I love to see the look on their little faces when they learn something new. Watching them work together and accomplish goals set for them is the most amazing feeling in the world. Knowing that I played an intricate part in that, gives me great pleasure.
I am looking forward to working with you, the parent(s), and developing a positive relationship. Trust is of the utmost importance to me and I have full conviction that we will develop this relationship together with an open door to communication.
